Share What You Love

Good Morning, Afternoon, or Evening where ever you are.  I got a bit done yesterday in my little craft space.
I did try to use up my Share What You Love DSP paper.  I loved using this DSP some really great patterns.  And I will definitely be getting more.  It is a double pack so if you are looking at this pack and wondering why it is more expensive, that is the reason.  There are 4 of each 2 sided pattern.  I will have to get pictures of the other patterns for you.  The catalog does not do this DSP justice.

Now, I just made an order and already wanting to make another order.   I saw Liz Yuille today make a wonderful card using the Laser cut Specialty Paper.  OMGosh it was stunning.  So yes, I will be getting the Laser Specialty Paper.
Don't forget if you order to use my Hostess Code so that you get a share of some goodies.

Tear and Tape Holder

I have been asked by several crafters to give the measurements for the Tear and Tape holder I have in this photo I showed on Pootles Forum.
The Tear and Tape holder is on the far left of this picture
I will apologize now I do not know how to put this in metric

Cardstock 12 X 5 inches
score on 5" side at 1 inch rotate 180ยบ and score at .5 inch
score on 12" side at .5, 5.25, 6.25, 11

Fold and burnish all score lines.  On 5" side cut along the score lines that have been scored at 1".  I wedged in on the smaller squares to have less bulk.
Still on the 5" side with the .5 " flap.  I put tear and tape and folder it down to have a reinforced top to the box.

Reburnish your score lines on the 12" side now that you have reinforced the top.
I used Tear and Tape to put my box together for a better hold.  This is where I really miss fast fuse.

For the box I have my blocks in:
CS 10.25 X 9
Score 10.25 side at .5, 2.5, 7.75, 9.75
Score 9 side at .5, 2.5, 6.5, 8.5

Fold and burnish score lines, after you have folded and burnished.  with the 9" side facing you start on right hand side (just because I am right handed).  The best instruction I can give are Pootles YouTube on her desktop stationary holder.  I have provided a link to the project I got my idea from.  So Thank You Pootles (Sam Hammond Donald).

Hope this helps you ladies that have asked for the measurements.

Varied Vases

Don't know if I have said this before or not but ever since I got my peek at the catalog.  This was the stamp set bundle I knew I was going to get.

This just has so many wonderful possibilities that I knew it was going to be on my must-have list.

Cardstock Blueberry Bushel (BB)
                 Highland Heather (HH)
                 Grapefruit Grove (GG)
                 Whisper White (WW)
Inks          Blueberry Bushel
                 Highland Heather
                 Grapefruit Grove
                 Tranquil Tide
                 Mint Macaron
Blends      Smokey Slate light
Blender Pen

Whisper White card base cut at 5 1/2 score at 4 1/4
cut BB, HH, GG at 4 X 5 1/4
cut WW at 3 X 4 1/4

I stamped off twice with Tranquil Tide for the vase and stamped off once for the other vase with Mint Macaron.

I used the blender pen to fill in the flowers.   And the Blender pen for shadows under the vases.

Happy Stamping.

Sorry

Just popping on to apologize for not having any cards to show tonight.   Forgot our son was coming home today, so had to make him a roast beef dinner.  One of his favorites.
I promise I will have some tomorrow.

Happy Stamping!

New Catalog and new beginnings

Today starts a new chapter with a new catalog and new stamps, suites, embellishments.   I got my order with a new stamp set Varied Vases, page 45 of the catalog.  Also got Share What You Love page 177.  I will confess, got this set when it was offered as a pre-order.  I simply adore the DSP (Designer Series Paper) that goes with this stamp set.

Will be making some cards this afternoon with this set so stay tuned later today with some new photos.

Don't forget the new hostess code for the month of June.  You will find it on the right-hand side of my blog.  I used Balmy Blue background.  Yep, that is right one of our new colors.

I have almost got all the new colors. Only can get a few at a time.  With just starting out I have to be careful and only get what I really want and need.

If you have any question about Stampin' Up or any of the products do not hesitate to contact me.

Be back after I have played.  Happy Stamping Everyone!!!!
